← Guinea pig care guide

⚠️ Urgent: please see a vet immediately

Guinea pigs are small herbivores with very low tolerance for discomfort, and their condition can decline far faster than in cats or dogs. Do not wait and watch.

Please act now:

1. Go straight to an emergency exotic-pet veterinary clinic.

2. Keep your guinea pig warm, quiet and steady on the way.

3. Bring a same-day dropping sample and a record of recent food intake.

4. Note the last time it ate and passed droppings.
